Painless Dental Care

We understand that many patients are anxious and fearful of going to the dentist. We want you to feel relaxed and to know that you are in the hands of a caring, professional team.

The first thing that you notice as you walk into Elite Dental and Aesthetics is that it does not look like a typical dental office. We designed it to look more like a spa, which instantly has a way of putting our patients at ease. Our entire staff has a warm and gentle approach. During treatment, we keep our patients informed by explaining the different steps of the procedure. When patients know what we are doing, they are more relaxed and less afraid.

Dental Injections

We also found a way to virtually take the pain away from the dreaded dental injection. We pride ourselves at investing in cutting edge technology when it comes to improving our patients' experiences: this is why we have incorporated the DentalVibe® Comfort Injection System, a breakthrough device, to give virtually pain-free injections.

We commonly hear from our patients that they avoided going to the dentist for many years because they were afraid. Most of them are afraid of the shot. Through the use of the DentalVibe, now going to the dentist is anxiety free. Many of our patients report that this device takes away the pain of the injection, and they can't wait to tell their friends and family about it. The DentalVibe creates a vibration on the gum tissue that sends a signal to the sensory area of the brain. The brain focuses on the vibration and not on the injection.

Nitrous Oxide

Our upgraded practice has a built-in nitrous oxide sedation system that is easily and safely accessible. We are happy to provide nitrous oxide sedation to those patients who need to feel more comfortable during treatment. Nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, is a sweet smelling, non-irritating, colorless gas. Nitrous oxide is safe with no side effects on your heart or lungs. Our doctors will safely administer 50-70% oxygen with no less than 30% nitrous oxide. During treatment, you are able to breathe on your own and remain in control of all bodily functions. Other benefits of nitrous oxide sedation are that there is no after effect (or “hangover”), and it is very effective in minimizing gagging. This technique can be used for most patients but must be avoided in those with colds and other respiratory problems, psychiatric treatment, vitamin B12 deficiency, and in pregnancy. This form of sedation is particularly useful for treating anxious children.

If necessary, we work with sedation specialists and can provide total sedation or general anesthesia. In those cases, the patient must be accompanied by a responsible adult and refrain from driving and operating machinery.
